Deadman Wonderland – OP, ED

Deadman Wonderland is a great show. Original and creative – that’s one of the best assets an anime and/or manga could have, and Deadman Wonderland has that. I can only speak for the anime, but so far, it’s been great and the flow of the story is going well. I’m just surprised that the direction of this story is so vague despite next week being its last week. The manga is still on-going (or so I’ve heard), so it’s expected that the anime is going to have an original ending and/or an open ending. I’m just hoping it won’t be disappointing.

So, yeah, a show I’d recommend you to watch, but the ending might not be pleasing.

Without further ado, here are the opening and ending theme songs of the show:

A great, matching opening song for a bloody show like this. Surely, you also think this is great as well, but I just goddamn can’t stop playing it in my head; probably because it’s a rock song or it’s just that great. Sadly, though, it took me 3-4 plays to actually understand the Engrish, and it’s still f*cking great.

The animation isn’t a letdown, either. If I’d have to compare these two different things, the song and the animation, I’d say that I love the animation better than the song. But hey, they’re both f*cking good, and that’s what matters.

I don’t know why, but I’m somehow surprised that their ending theme song is great. I didn’t really expect something punk like the OP, but… I don’t know, I just found it great. Probably because it’s a great time to reflect at what happened at the episode as a whole. It’s also mostly because of the changing animations on the past of everyone else, on the happiness everyone would have been in.

Also, you guys may have noticed this already, but the Ferris wheel changes colors. It took me 2 episodes to notice it, together with the real meaning in it.

band who sang the opening theme song for deadman wonderland-> The band was founded by drummer and songwriter Rui Watanabe and guitarist Kansei Miyaji, both of whom attended the same Japanese secondary school in New York City, New York.[2] In 1994 bassist Noriyuki Hashimoto joined the group and in 1998 a second guitarist, Shingo Terasawa, (alias 5°, pronounced Godo) came on board. In 1999 the band relocated to Tokyo, Japan and in 2001, Jon Underdown, who at the time was an exchange student hailing from Seattle, Washington, joined the band solidifying the lineup. The following year, 2002, the group officially decided on the band name “Fade”.[3] Rui and Jon were born and raised in North America (New York and Washington respectively) while Kansei and Noriyuki spent extensive time in New York (USA). Godo is the sole member to be born and raised in Japan.
