Ao no Exorcist 13 – Huh?

THIS SERIES HAS MAGIC CIRCLES. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!

Chapter 13 – “Act of Kindness”

Rather than slowly showing the fact that Rin is a demon to a few people, here we are now. Right off the bat, he just showed his true colors to everyone.

It seemed like there were a few things that I missed in the previous chapters. They did say something about the Eight Kings, and I should have at least do some research on it. Thanks to the few who revealed about who Amaimon really is, we finally understand that he’s the Earth King, a really bigger shot than I thought. It even surprises me more to know that there’s still nobody that could actually match up with his power.

Before the fight began, Shuma gave Rin back his sword. Hidden well, it should be put up somewhere, that could be taken away from her stomach at any time. It’s an interesting bit, and I hope there will be more info on it on the later chapters.

The camp they were in had a protective barrier, enough to at least keep Amaimon away, but with a lot of things up on his sleeve, he still manages to lure out Rin with Shiemi’s willpower taken away because of a demon in her body. Funnily, Amaimon makes Shiemi a stupid moron by supposedly having a marriage kiss that looks more like devouring her wholly. It turned Rin’s anger on and started the fight.

With all the ruckus going on, almost everyone in the ExWires are let loose and start doing all the idiotic things they could, which would almost end up to stupidly ending their lives that way. Finally, half of Amaimon’s plan worked, Rin finally turned himself in and sheathed out his sword.

The fight begins and keeps on rallying as though both of them are on par with each other. While Rin was going to win, it seems like he lost by just the fact that he doesn’t know his body that much, especially from his tail, one of the weakest points a demon has. They continue to fight but Mephisto interrupts and stops the fight!

The way I see it, Mephisto looks more mysterious and scary to me. I mean, he even managed to stop that crazy Earth King person, is he suppose to be someone better than him? Another King but more powerful? Interesting… and the fights are just as great. Understandable enough and detailed.

This won’t let me down, I’m sure of that.
